Additional Children's classes coming to the South Sound YMCA's Briggs Community Branch!

Nikko Dojo is happy to announce that we are adding Children's classes at the South Sound YMCA Briggs Community Branch starting in January 2011. Classes will be on Tuesday and Thursdays evenings from 5:30 to 6:30.

We are still working with the Briggs Community Branch on adding adult classes. If you are interested in adult classes at the Briggs Community Branch, please contact Westfall Sensei or Member Services at the Briggs Community Branch and let them know. If enough interest is generated, this will help to facilitate adding an adult class to the schedule.

Please Note: Classes at the Briggs Community Branch will be a separate program. Students that wish to attend classes at both the Olympia Downtown Branch and Briggs Community Branch will need to register for each session separately at the respective facility.

Children's classes at Nikko Dojo

Nikko Dojo offers children's classes on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00pm to 6:50pm at the Olympia Downtown Branch; and, Tuesday and Thurday nights from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Briggs Community Branch.

Children's classes focus on the fundamentals of jujutsu and movement in a non-competitive environment.

Classes are led by our assistant instructors under the direction of Westfall Sensei. Students from our adult classes are also encouraged to help and participate in the children's classes to maximize our instructor to student ratio.
